1952 – 2009
In loving memory of a cherished husband and beloved father, Bernie will be forever remembered and forever missed. Bernie passed away, suddenly, on Saturday, March 14, 2009. Bernie of Waterloo, was in his 58th year. He was well known in the agricultural industry through his involvement with many organizations and his work with Growmark Inc.
Bernie is survived by his loving wife, Sandy, sons Ryan and Matt and his partner Lora Black of Waterloo. Bernie will be fondly remembered by his sister Mary and brother-in-law Henry Freriks, nephews Cody and Christopher of Kitchener, sister-in-law Elaine and nephew Craig Daly of Waterloo, niece Cassandra and great-nephew Logan Daly of Barrie. Son-in-law of Joyce Carroll, brother-in-law of Wendy Carroll and her partner Rick Teachout of Waterloo.
Bernie is predeceased by his parents, John “Bun” and Leona Daly, his brothers Tim and Brian Daly, father-in-law Ted Carroll and aunt Pat Dashper.
Special thanks to the emergency response team at the Listowel Memorial Hospital as well as the unknown good Samaritans.
Friends and relatives are invited to come share their memories of Bernie with his family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, March 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 11 am. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
