Softball Ontario can help you Promote your Association!
NORTH YORK, ONTARIO-Softball Ontario would like to remind Softball Associations of three greatways that we can help you promote your softball Association and increase yourregistration for the upcoming 2009 season!
Softball Promotional Kits
Is your SoftballAssociation holding registration dates in the local mall, arena, or anotherpublic venue? Are you looking for ways to encourage more children toregister to play softball in 2009? Softball Ontario is here to helpyou! To assist Softball Associations with increasing registrations in2009, Softball Ontario is making Softball Promotional Kits available toSoftball Associations across Ontario.
How do you qualify toreceive a Softball Promotional Kit? It’s easy! To qualify, yourAssociation must use the kit at a registration or promotional event held in apublic venue and you will need to submit an Event Report to Softball Ontariofollowing your event.
Included in yourSoftball Promotional Kit are the following materials:
- 250 Softball OntarioTattoos
- 100 Learn to PlayBrochures
- 100 Softball OntarioPencils
- 25 Softball GiveawayItems
- 6 Learn to PlayPosters
- 1 Softball T-Shirt
- 1 Inflatable Catcher(must be returned to Softball Ontario)
- 1 Inflatable Bat& Ball Set (must be returned to Softball Ontario)
- 1 Softball CanadaCommunications Kit
In exchange, SoftballOntario asks that you complete an Event Reports within one (1) week of eachevent. Any unused promotional materials, along with the InflatableCatcher, must be returned to Softball Ontario following the event.

Promote Your Registration Dates
For the 2009 softballseason, your Association can have Registration Dates promoted on SoftballOntario’s web site!
Contact Softball Ontariowith the details of your Softball Association’s Registration Dates and theywill be added to the thirty (30) Associations’ Registration Dates currentlylisted (view the listing). Promoting your Softball Association’sRegistration Dates on Softball Ontario’s web site is a wonderful opportunityfor you to increase the exposure of your Registrations!
Each posting shouldinclude the following information:
- Date
- SoftballAssociation
- When(date, time)
- Where (location name & address)
- Description (link to registration form, addressto mail form, information about early-bird registration rates, contact person,web site, email address, etc)
Softball Ontario’s NEWNews Release Service
Members of SoftballOntario’s Play Softball Network can take advantage of a new program providedby Softball Ontario – the Softball Ontario News Release Service. Softball Associations can submit their news releases and event information toSoftball Ontario through the Play Softball network, and their news and eventswill be posted on the Play Softball Web Site (www.PlaySoftball.ca) for the world tosee!
The new News ReleaseService is a great way to spread the word about your Softball Association, andpromote the great things you are doing to improve softball in your area! Ideas for News Releases that could be posted on the Play Softball Web Siteinclude:
