Sidney White update - back from Florida

We would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers,cards and acts of kindness during this difficult time. Sidney and I spent 3weeks at the University of Florida receiving specialized therapy. The program was amazing and Sidney gave 110% at all times. We returned home with just a few things to work on, but armed with the tools to do so. We stayed with my niece Angela (a senior at U of F) which was a treat in itself. Sidney and I were able to watch the U of F play softball, and she was given a shirt, signed posters and a chance to chat with all the players. We also were treated to a wonderful dinner at the Capitol Grille (my sister Laurie is a manager at the Palm Beach location), and Sidney was given a chiefs coat/hat and the opportunity to be a celebrity chief and cook in the kitchen with the executive chief. She had a wonderful time and was spoiled with one fancy drink after another. We were also blessed to have my brother Brian and Sister-in-lawSuzanne join us for dinner. They were in town (from Iowa) for a conference over the weekend, and were able to meet up with us at the Capitol Grille. It was wonderful to seethem!!
Sidney is down toone medication now and will have a follow-up MRI in August to monitor thelesion in her brain.
