Ken Vierling in serious accident - Update

Hi everybody,
I am sending this to everybody in my contact folder that is associated with fastpitch softball. As most of you, if not all of you know, Ken Vierling had a very severe car accident in Colorado Springs last weekend on his way to Las Vegas. Jason Smith found this website to people can read updates and post comments/memories/best wishes for Kenny.

Everyone, Last evening (10:00 p.m.), while returning from acollege game I received a call that Ken Vierling
(our board member, world tournament umpire and good friend), was involved in a one car accident in the Colorado Springs area, Ken was traveling to Las Vegas for a bowling tournament with a member of the Minneapolis bowlingassociation.
The passenger was killed and Ken has very serious injuries. Last night I was told he had suffered a broken neck. This morning Ken's mother called me to report, (Her words: " He may be paraplegic from the accident")
Apparently they hit a patch of ice and rolled over near ColoradoSprings. Ken was taken to St. Anthony Hospital in Denver last night.
