2009 International Softball Congress Developmental Under 23 & 19 Tournaments

 

Frankenmuth Driving School/Grasel Graphics will host the Under 23 and under 19 ISC Developmental fastpitch softball this weekend in Heritage Park. The tournament will begin Saturday morning and conclude on Sunday.

 

Four teams will compete for the Under 23 championship with teams representing Frankenmuth, Warsaw, Illinois, Munger, and Newmarket, Ontario. Players featured in the tournament will come from New Zealand, Canada and the United States.

 

Twelve teams will attempt to dethrone the Oxford, Ontario Pirates, for the under 19 championship. Bay, Saginaw, Genesee, Tuscola and Midland County players will play on two United States teams from Munger and Richville. Representing Ontario will be Simcoe, Sebringville, Straffordville, New Dundee, Tavistock, Kitchener-Waterloo, Glencoe, Scarborough, and Newmarket.

 

The games will begin at 9:00 A.M. Saturday morning, July 11 and conclude with the championship games in both divisions in the late afternoon or early evening Sunday, July 12. There is no charge to watch these fine young fastpitch players in action.
