Today’s games are underway! We have had two great days hereat the ISF XII World Men’s Softball Championship. Today is a huge day as undefeated Team Canada will play undefeated Australia forwhat should be first place in Pool B. The Aussies have given up a total of 2hits and no runs in two games, while scoring 17. Team Canada hasgiven up only two runs on 8 hits while also scoring 17 runs. They meet head tohead with first place on the line at 3:30 at bob Van Impe Stadium.

 

The two evening games feature the top three teams in Pool. Thethree time defending champion Black Sox from New Zealand have firmly setthemselves up as the team to beat. In their two victories they have scored 29runs shutting out the opposition on a total of 2 hits. They play the 1-1 Philippines at8:30. At 6:30 the two chide challengers to New Zealand in Pool a play Japanand U.S.A.Although the Japanese are undefeated and yet to play the Black Sox this may bea matchup second place in the pool as both these team are legitimate medalcontenders.
