Week fourteen in the KFL

Week fourteen in the KFL
Week fourteen has passed and leaves us with eight games left in the regular season schedule and all eight playoff spots still up in the air.

Four teams have completed their regular season and will now have to sit and wait for the final week to be played before seeing where they finish and who they will face.

The Smoke is the lone team going into the A playoffs that are playing that waiting game. They are currently in first place in the Black division but both the Kings (three games left) and Bell Cartage (2 games left and undefeated in their last six) have a chance to pass them.

Of the four teams in the Red division that will be going on to the playoffs, three (Selects, Reds and Diamond Jaxx) still have one game left to play while the remaining team, the Classics have two left.

On the B side, the Cardinals, Paris Predators and Moonshiners have all finished their seasons and the final standings are one game away from being set. Once the Predators and Wizards play their game (a win or tie for the Predators means a first round bye, a loss means the bye will go to the Cardinals), the schedule for the B side will be finalized.

Playoffs will likely begin next week so all players, coaches, umpires and fans will need to keep an eye on the website for updates.

I would also like to wish all of the KFL players headed down to the Quad Cities for the ISC II World championships</A> good luck. It should be a great tournament.
