KFL 2009 playoffs; week two

The teams in the KFL are very close in terms of talent and ability. That was
proven throughout the regular season and multiple times in the first week of
the 2009 playoffs. Three of the four A side playoff series are going to game

The Black Sox, after dropping game one to the Selects, fought back and won
game two, 1-0, when a bottom of the seventh 1-out, bases loaded sacrifice
fly ended the game.

The Kings and Classics battled in what ended up as a 6-4 win for the Kings
in game two. This tied their series at one game apiece.

The Diamond Jaxx, who won game one over the Smoke, scored a run in the first
inning of game two but watched the Smoke scrape out two over the next six
innings, to send their series to the deciding game as well.

Only Bell Cartage, taking advantage of an injury depleted Reds team, took
their series in the minimum two games. They now sit and wait to see who
moves on to face them.

One the B side, the miracle-kids of the KFL, the Wizards, after going
winless all season, topped the Bulldogs and the Paris Predators, only to
face the Cardinals in game one of the finals. A game the Cardinals wanted
badly, and took, with a final score of 12-1. The Wizards have a chance to
fight back, with game two going Tuesday night and (the Wizards hope) game
three on Thursday.
