KFL semi finals

Round one of the 2009 playoffs is now over. Round two (semi-finals) will
start tomorrow night. Here are the pairings.
Selects v Diamond Jaxx
The Selects advanced to the semis by edging out a tough Black Sox team two
games to one. Game two and game three of that series featured on a total of
two runs scored in a combined 15 innings. The Selects will need to step up
the offense as they take on the Diamond Jaxx. The Jaxx eliminated the Smoke
after a hard fought game three. They only managed to score one run but it
was enough as Kevin Clugston threw a one-walk, no-hitter.
Regular season games between these two teams were extremely close. A 2-2 tie
and a 2-1 win for the Selects were the final scores.

Selects v Diamond Jaxx
Game 2 and game 3 to be determined.
Kings vs Bell Cartage
The Kings move on to the next round after knocking off the defending champs,
the Classics, while Bell Cartage has sat idle for over a week after
eliminating the Reds in two straight games.
Regular season games between the two teams saw an 8-8 tie and 7-2 win for
Bell.
