Greater Ottawa Fastball League Semi-Finals

OTTAWA, ON - The Greater Ottawa Fastball League quarter-finals have been completed and the top four regular season teams have moved on to the best-of-five semi-finals.
 
Stittsville 56ers (#1) vs Manotick Lomor Printers (#4)
 
Stittsville swept the Greely Eagles (#9) two games straight to move on the round of four, while Manotick needed to come back to win two games after dropping the first match against Carp I4C Victory (#5).
 
The series begins Thursday night September 3 at 8:30pm in Stittsville.
 
Ottawa Team Easton (#2) vs Quyon COMBAT Flyers (#3)
 
Team Easton swept the Orleans Gators (#7) in two straight games, while Quyon lost their first game in the opening round but won the next two at home to defeat the Ottawa Blitz (#6) in the quarters.  These two teams both attended the ISC Tournament of Champions in Quad Cities, USA.
 
Game one has already been played in this series with Quyon winning 4-1 on the road on Tuesday night.  Game two of the series is Thursday September 3 at 7:30pm in Quyon.
 
The winners of the semi-finals will move to the best-of-five finals to compete for the I4C Consulting Trophy. Stittsville 56ers are defending champions, while Team Easton won the league title five straight years from 2003 to 2007.
