The Jack Grafmeier Memorial tournament is attempting to stay around in these tough times in softball. With a change though. The Grafmeier will be a tournament for lower level teams to compete in. In an attempt to help men's fastpitch grow, this tournament will have teams of NAFA AA calibre and lower playing at beautiful Sunset Park in Kimberly, WI. We will be under a pay per win format. Pool play with a single elimination bracket on Sunday with a maximum 12 teams.
We are currently in the preliminary stages of organizing this and we are looking to see what kind of interest there would be in this kind of tournament. At this time, we are looking at June 11,12 and 13 for the tournament, a week later than normal. If your team would have an interest in this tournament, please contact me to let me know. The Kimberly Rec Association will be meeting next month and will decide then. If we have enough interest, we will go forward with the plan and bring great softball competition to Sunset Park.

To go with the initial post for the Grafmeier Tournament, we are open to having a 2 division tournament, open to all teams. If we don't have the interest for one or the other, we will adjust accordingly and with plenty of notice. Again, this is preliminary and trying to find out what kind of interest there actually is. We do have some interest already, I will have an official announcement either way in a month.
