Rick McDonalld Memorial Fastball League finally came to an end

The Rick McDonalld Memorial Fastball League finally came to an end . The curtain waas pulled down on Saturday night at Omalley's Pub in Garson Ontario as the awards were handed out by Roger Legendre the Public Relations Liaison/Advisor . There were awards given out for both the regular season nand the playoffs .The evening started off with a special award given from the City Sudbury to Paul Lizotte for his perfect game pitched in semi final action back on September 3rd .The books are now closed and the next meeting will be in late March 2010 . At that time the existing teams as well as new interested new ones will be asked to be present at this first meeting .Also in late March of 2010 the new executive for the newly formed Greater Sudbury Ladies Nickel Fasball League will meet . There will be announcements in the papers , on the web and on television .
