Snapper Shootout - 2010

Fastball Community,

With the 2010 calendar quickly filling up we wanted to let everyone know that the 7th Annual Snapper Shootout will take place on June 4-6, 2010 at Centennial Sportspark in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON.  A slight change to the divisional format is being considered and the goal is to get 16 teams committed with 12 of the 16 teams making it to the Sunday single elimination playoffs. 
 
Entry fee:  $500
Payout:  $4000 total prize money based on 16 teams participating
Calibre:  TBA 
 
Note:  The calibre of this years event will be addressed once the ISC announces the changes that are coming in 2010.  At this point we are considering a few options that could appeal to teams of all abilities.  Our goal is to be as inclusive as possible while still making the event appealing to the teams that have supported the tournament over the last six years.
 
If your team is interested in participating please let me know.  The first 16 teams paid will be given a spot in the Shootout.  Spots will no longer be held for teams unless payment is received.  Please make cheque payable to:  "Niagara Snappers Shootout" and they can be mailed to:
