The Midland Explorers (#10 in current ISC rankings) travelled into Ontario for a set of games vs. the Twins (#4) and Redmen (#32) and came away with a 3-0-1 record.  Season record now stands at 17-5-1 going into the Monkton World Series of Fastball next weekend.
 
Game 1
Explorers 2, Kitchener 2
Grant Patterson - 7IP, 4H, 3K, 0BB, Don Scott - 7IP, 4H, 9K, 1BB
Reid Benson with an RBI single and Steve Horning with a HR for Midland's runs.  Chris Jones and Ron White with RBI's for Kitchener.
 
Game 2
Explorers 5, Oshweken 1
WP - Luke Raymer (on loan from the Norwich Jrs) - 7IP, 9H, 3K, 1BB, LP - Mike Joseph - 7IP, 6H, 3K, 5BB
Steve Roberts had a 3-run homer and Kyle Beane a 2-run homer.  Calvin Miller, Norm Logan and TJ Miller each with 2 hits for Oshweken.
 
Game 3
Explorers 7, Oshweken 0 (5 innings)
WP - Grant Patterson - 5IP, 1H, 8K, 1BB, LP - Rory Miller - 5IP, 7H, 3K, 4BB
Eddy Ketelhut was 3x3 with 2 HRs and 4 RBI and Sean Zaborowski was 2x2 for Midland.  Rory Miller had Oshweken's hit.
 
Game 4
Explorers 7, Kitchener 0 (6 innings)
WP - Luke Raymer - 6IP, 2H, 4K, 1BB, LP - Paul Koert - 4IP, 7H, 5K, 2BB
Rino Dambroskio with a 2-run homer and Beane, Horning and Craig Crawford each with 2 hits for Midland.  Ted Kosciesza and Dave Bailey with hits for Kitchener.
