Fastball Community,
 
The 7th Annual Snapper Shootout will take place June 4-6, 2010 at Centennial Sports Park in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON.  After some debate and taking into consideration the recent changes within the ISC, the tournament executive has decided on a format for 2010 and for the first time in Shootout history we will see a two tier event that will not restrict a team based on classification.
 
The Shootout will be an "Open" event in 2010 with 16 teams being placed in 4 divisions of 4.  The 1st and 2nd place teams will move on to play for the "A" Championship (8 team-single elimination).  The four 3rd place teams will play for the "B" Championship (4 team-single elimination).  The four 4th place teams will be eliminated.  With 12 of the 16 teams making it to Sunday we feel this creates an environment where every game a team plays has some level of importance. 
 
Entry fee:  $500
Payout:  $4000 total prize money based on 16 teams participating
