Erie tournament update

Just a reminder for the
Erie PA tournament July 30-Aug 1... which is the last weekend of July play (for ISC qualifying purposes) and the weekend before the ASA Major nationals. Teams that have verbally committed are: Gremlins, Midland, Albaugh, Kitchener, Ashland, Dominicans, and Snappers. There have been others who have expressed interest and I'm in negotiations with having the New Zealand Black Sox team here as I help arrange their US tour for 2010.
I have the prize money up to $2000 right now, based on 10 teams. 4 RR games, with top 2 going into championships Sunday. If other teams want to play an additional game on Sunday before heading home, I can arrange that too. I have a GOOD rate at the Avalon Hotel downtown for the host. I am working on bringing in some ISC umpires to help (please contact me if interested in this!) and additional sponsorships may increase prizes.
