The BAC Pride will be hosting a Wood Bat tournament on May 22nd and 23rd.   The tournament will be played at the recently renovated Thunder Park, which now is home to a 1200 seat grandstand, pressbox, sunk in dugouts and expanded concession stand. 

 

This will be a wood bat tournament and a tune up for the NAFA Wood Bat World Series that will also be held in Roscoe, IL over labor day.   This tournament will be a ASA 3 game guarantee format and are looking for 6-8 teams to round up the field of play.   If you haven't played wood bat fastpitch, you will find the game fun, fast paced, and much safer than many of the games played with the high tech composite bats.   Wood bat fastpitch is how the game was meant to be played.    

Entry Fee 250 Dollars: 3 Game Guarantee.

Teams will need to bring their own bats (Good maple wood softball bats can be purchased for prices between 60-100 dollars).
