Liberty Rings Out
The first tournament of the year, due to a rain out, for the SCIFL was
held March 20-21 in Santa Fe Springs, CA. 15 teams of various classes
were entered into the tournament which had a 3-game round robin that
seeded them into single elimination on Sunday afternoon.
Four teams came in with 3-0 records and all were separated by 5 runs so
the competition was pretty even all weekend. Liberty FP (Orange, CA)
won the championship game over the Colton Dirt Bags (Colton, CA) 2-1.
