The Aurora Dolan & Murphy Shamrocks will be hosting the 2010 Stars & Stripes Tournament over 4^th of July weekend 2010 at Stuart Sports Complex in Aurora, IL.  This is a 2010 ISC Qualifying Event with 1-ISC World Tournament berth going to the highest finishing US Central team.  We are looking for 6-8 teams to compete in a round robin/playoff style format that will be determined based on the number of entrants.  We have had interest from ISC along with ASA Major and ASA Class A teams so far, although ALL LEVELS are welcome. The Aurora Fastpitch Softball Association is eager to have this tournament back in Aurora as it used to be one of the premier events of the summer! 

A recent development is that one of the Saturday evening pool games will be played at Judson University in between the Chicago Bandits doubleheader vs. the Tennessee Diamonds (http://www.chicagobandits.com/).  The 2008 NPF World Champions boast Olympian pitcher Jennie Finch and always have a great turnout for their games.  This will be a unique opportunity to promote our sport by exposing more fans to top-level men’s fastpitch!
