Just a reminder to teams filling out their 2010 tournament schedule that there is still space in the 2010 Snapper Shootout being held on June 4-6/10 in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON.  To register go to:  www.niagarasnappers.com
 
Click "downloads" to access the entry form and rules.  The tournament is open to all players and teams and the entry fee is $500.

16 teams will be placed in four divisions of four.  The top two teams in each division (8 teams) will play for the "A" Championship and the four 3rd place teams will play for the "B" Championship.  12 of the 16 teams will make it to the Championship Sunday with a chance to play for $4000 in total prize money.  Over 25 teams have expressed interest and we will be taking the first 16 teams paid.  The teams that have confirmed their entry to date include:

The Shootout will offer teams and fans a great first hand look at some of the competition that will be on hand at the 2010 ISC World Tournament held in mid August.  The Shootout has proven to be a true team challenge as it takes 6 games to win it all and considering the early date, this can be a great opportunity for teams to get tournament tested and to put a little cash in the account.  Great ball at a great park in Centennial Park with a Beer Garden in the heart of the complex and a concession stand with an excellent selection.
 

The Host Hotel for the Shootout is once again Howard Johnson By The Falls www.hojobythefalls.com  
It is a great spot in the heart of all the attractions Niagara Falls has to offer. With Centennial Park located in the regions wine country there are not many affordable options closer to the park than the HOJO. Considering the great location and quality of the HOJO, the tournament rate is very reasonable. The HOJO is app a 20 minute ride to the park.

Shootout Rate:
Friday June 4th - $89.95, plus tax (plus $8 parking fee per vehicle per night)
Saturday June 5th - $109.95, plus tax (plus $8 parking fee per vehicle per night)
