Black Sox Head Coach Eddie Kohlhase has begun the process of identifying players for the 2013 World Championships. Along with recently appointed pitching coach Chubb Tangaroa, Kohlhase has named 12 pitchers and 5 catchers for the first pitcher/catcher camp of the 2013 campaign.

The group are a mix of experience and raw talent with 2009 campaigners Heinie Shannon, Jeremy Manley and Brad Rona alongside 2008 Junior Black Sox representatives Thomas Enoka, David McKenzie, Nik Hayes and Campbell Makea. Included in the group are members of the 2010 Junior Black Sox Training squad including Brad Worsley, Josh Pettet, Zane Siolo and Beau Bishop.

The battery camp is being held this Sunday (16th May) at The Indian Centre, Kilbernie from 10am-4.30pm. Also in attendance will be Black Sox Assistant Coach Dave Workman and Black Sox Manager Doug Golightly.
