After an absence of more than 15 years , ladies fastball is returning to Greater Sudbury . Its not a large beginning as John Honse mentioned to me but it’s a start . There will be for the moment four team ; the Sudbury Selects , the Perry Island Lady Hawks and two of the Greater Sudbury minor program's midget division . Mickey Chartrand working out the Island is trying to get one or two of ladies team to participate . There could also be a team from Blind River . As far as North Bay  goes , it could be us travelling there for exhibition games with their three teams . The league with the four teams mentioned gets underway next week.
Keep in mind that our league web site is still alive . It has been dormant since last October  with no new items but will be activated on Wednesday May 26th with new material to be added .Just Google Rick McDonald Memorial Fastball league and go to the title with welcome and you are there .
