I am a long time supporter of "Al's List" and I have played in the Richmond Hill Men's Fastball League since 1995.  This town league, in one configuration or another, has been opertaing for decades and has ties back to the 1972 World Championship "Dynes" Fastabll team.  This league has remained competitive over the years and to this day continues to support a decent caliber of fastball player.

 

I am sending this message in hopes of finding somebody that might be willing and able to pitch in the our league. Our squad was dealt a blow last week with the departure of our 1st string pitcher for work related reasons and we are staring down the barrel of a long summer of very tough battles so I was hoping to get a request out there to the community. We play almost every Thursday evening at either 7 or 9 pm and the odd Tuesday.  The league has already begun and we are now 1 and 1.  The caliber of player ranges from former senior and ISC II talent right down to the truly recreational player.   There is also a tournament weekend commencing July 2-4 followed by a playoff run in September.
