2010 NAFA New England Championship
Modified 9 man and Fastpitch Class “C” teams
When: July 24-25, 2010
Where: Oswego, NY
Format: 3 game guarantee Tournament
Fee: $375
Expense Money and Awards – based on 16 teams
1st $1,500 + Trophy
2nd $1,000 + Trophy
3rd $600 + Trophy
Check-in: Team manager must check in 15 min prior to first game.
Number of Teams: 16 Maximum – 2 day tournament.
Roster Requirements: Players can NOT be on two team’s roster.
Game Rules:
Flip for Home team, in championship game home team is higher seed. When if game is necessary coin toss will decide home team.
Format: Round Robin, Top 12 teams make it to Sunday single elimination.
Pitcher: Pitcher will be allowed 5 warm-up pitches the first inning and 3 thereafter. Pitcher shall not use side-arm motion, So no bitching.
Courtesy Runners: You can use three - Last batted out, plus two out catcher rule.
Extra Hitters: Teams may bat up to 11, 1 DH and 1EH, (EH can’t play the field) teams can only play 9 position players.
Protests: Tournament director’s decision is final!
Starting Time: Games will start promptly at 9:00am on Saturday and 8:00am Sunday.
Run Rule: 10 runs after 5 innings, (Home team must have equal at bats.)
Bunting and Stealing is allowed.
Hit By Pitch: Batter will be awarded first base. Provided he makes attempt to avoid the pitch.
