35th Annual Dunkirk Fast Pitch Tournament Results

The 35th Annual Dunkirk New York Open Fast-Pitch Tournament was held this past weekend. The ten team tournament, which fielded teams from New York, Pennsylvania and Ontario Canada, began Friday Night with two local Dunkirk teams opening up the tournament to a crowd of 750 people. Dunkirk I defeated Dunkirk II 7-5, as Tim “Dopey” Wdowiasz battled Mike “Harvey” Tofil on the mound to take the win. Big John’s of Lackawanna, NY would go on to the win the tournament, defeating Erie Bud 3-1 in th finals, as Greg Garrity picked up the victory over Billy Hillhouse.
