Big Johns of Lackawanna are the 2010 Elkland ESA II level first weekend champions. Behind the pitching and hitting of Gregg Garrity Big Johns defeated the pa power 6 to 1 in the championship game Sunday night. we had a great crowd of people on hand to watch some very good competition all weekend long.My apologies for not getting the scores out over the weekend but we have no Internet at the ballpark and games got behind schedule so I got home a little late both nights.

Here is the top 3 finishing teams for this years tournament

 

First place-Big Johns, Lackawanna NY  $1,000.00

Second place- Pa Power,Harrisburg Pa  $ 500.00

Third place- ESA Bellys, Elkland Pa        $300.00

 

Most valuable pitcher- Gregg Garrity - Big Johns 4 and 0 with 1 save

Most valuable player- Gregg Garrity- Big Johns   7-14 with 2 home runs 

 

The Elkland softball association would like to thank all the teams that participated this year and we are looking forward to next years ESA II level tournament.

 

We are still taking applications for this weekends Durk Sherman classic over Labor Day weekend, any teams looking to participate please contact me asap.
