Rick McDonald Memorial Fastball League

 

                                                Finally the best of 5 championship series "E" between the Parry Island Hawks (third seeded during the regular season ) and the defending league champions the Sudbury North Stars will get underway on Labor Day Monday in Azilda at the Rick McDonald Memorial Park with doubleheader the first game at 7 PM . Game three in this series will either go Wednesday night in Whitefish at 9 PM or in Garson on Thursday night same time . Games four and five if necessary go next week most likely Monday the 13th in Azilda and Wednesday the 15th in Whitefish . Team reps are reminded to turn in their all star ballots (all-star game is on September the 18th in Massey and also their individual awards ballots .

 

3RD Annual Parry Island Hawks Fastball Tournament

 

                                                 Last we decided to extend the deadline to Wednesday September the 8th after we added the ladies and master's division .It seems now that we will have to drop the ladies division with two of the original teams dropping out while the masters may still go with  three confirmed teams . In the men's open we stand at a firm 8 committed teams . If there is any more interest out there please email me at er_legendre@sympatico.ca ASAP .It would be greatly appreciated .I would like if possible to finalize my schedule by tomorrow night .
