Ingersoll Crush 2010 Review

   

       At the Tri-County fastball league awards banquet last weekend the Ingersoll Crush won several awards, they won the league championship trophy, playoff finalist trophy. Todd Winkworth won top pitcher of the year and Rick Johnson and Bob Figg won coach of the year honours for the Crush.

     The Ingersoll Crush of the Tri-County fastball league had a very successful 2010 season. They accumulated 50 wins and had only 20 defeats. They won the regular season championship with 24 wins and only 1 loss and also advanced to the playoff finals losing 3 games to 1 behind the hot arm of Tim Neil of Innerkip. They won the Fisherville tournament, finalists at the Ontario Challenge Cup, finalist in Norwich. They finished fourth at the Ontario East ISC qualifier in Innerkip and 4th at the Port Huron ISC qualifier.  Finished 17th at the ISC worlds in Midland with a 5-2 record and were 5th in team batting with a .277 average.

     The Ingersoll Crush team would like to thank all of there fans and sponsors for an excellent 2010 season. We are looking forward to next season and hoping to build on this years success.
