For the 2011 season, the Explorers would like to welcome Gregg Garrity to the team. One of the top combo pitcher/hitters in the game, Gregg brings an intimidating presence to the lineup and will join Grant Patterson as part of the pitching staff. Being named to the All-World team twice as a hitter is just a brief indication of the type of offensive firepower he'll add to the batting order, Gregg also posted one of the all-time highest batting averages in ISC World Tournament history (.667 - 2006 Kitchener).
After 10 seasons with the team, Clint Beane has decided to retire as manager. The Booster Club is grateful for his commitment, dedication and support of the team - there are very few people who are better ambassadors of the game. On a personal note, being able to be part of the Explorers with my Dad for this long (and we were teammates when I got started from (1987-1991) is by far the highlight of my softball career. Thanks Dad.
Moving from the first-base coaching box to the third-base box as Manager in 2011 will be Gregg Sauve. A coach for the team from 1996-1998, and then again in 2010. Gregg has almost 30 years experience in the sport playing, managing and coaching.
Also returning to the team at this point are outfielders Dan Loney, Todd Moore and Shea Bryant. Infielders Eddy Ketelhut, Steve Horning and Kyle Beane also return, while Steve Roberts will be back behind the plate. A final roster list will follow in the next couple weeks.

June 17 - Explorers Tournament - Midland
June 25 - Legends Tournament - Kitchener
July 15 - Tavistock Tournament
July 29 - Erie Tournament
August 4 - ASA Major National - South Bend
August 13 - ISC World Tournament - Quad Cities
