I am proud to announce information for the first ever NAFA Youth World Series to be hosted in conjunction with the NAFA Men's World Series in Rockford, IL. This will be a first for NAFA and it will begin with a 10U and 12U tournament.. We are beginning small, but with the goal of slowly expanding to the 14U, 16U and 18U. Due to generous sponsors this tournament will be free to all teams that want to participate.
We are looking for at LEAST four teams in each age bracket, with tentative commitments from four teams in each age bracket already. We would like to have 6-8 teams in each age bracket, so please pass this information along.
Our Tentative Teams to date:
10 U: NW Royals, QC Jr. Sox , Stateline Fastpitch I, Stateline Fastpitch II
12 U: NW Royals, Vandalia Jr. Freight, Stateline Fastpitch I, Stateline Fastpitch II
Any individuals that have a boy that has been practicing pitching and wants to pitch for a team please contact me, below, and we will get him on a team to play on. If you know of someone that has a boy that wants to play, let us know and we will place him on a team. This is a developmental tournament and geared to provide boys an opportunity to get exposed to this great game.

Dates: August 11 and 12, 2011
Format: August 11: Round Robin; August 12: Single Elimination
Times: August 11: 12:00 pm first game (1:30 minute time limit); August 12: 9:00 am (1:30 time Limit)
Location: Thunder Field; Roscoe, IL.
Cost: Free
Awards: MVP, Top Pitcher, Top Hitter and All Tournament Teams
