I would like to pass on some sad news from the Owen Sound Verge Selects. Our team has lost a close fastball fan, friend, supporter, and sponsor. Patricia's husband Glenn has been a coach and is a continuing sponsor of our team. Patricia will be missed by our fastball family.

VERGE, Patricia Emily - Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Friday, April 15, 2011 in her 71st year. Loving wife of Glenn for 44 years. Beloved mother of Ronald and his wife Linda and Lori and her husband Steve Onodi. Grandmother of Chrissy and Gregory. Survived by her sisters Audrey, Marlene and Jackie and her brother Raymond. Patricia was working for Bell Canada Legal Department until she left to join the family business Verge Transportation. Avid fastball wife, she travelled all over North America with the Newmarket Rays, Owen Sound Selects and Oshawa Merchants for over 25 years. Patricia will be sadly missed by all. A memorial service will take place at the
Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket, on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat's name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
