Snapper Shootout Update

The
8th Snapper Shootout is set for June 3-5, 2011. Please note the change in venue this year. The
Shootout will take place in Niagara Falls, ON at Ker Park on Sinnicks Ave. The 4 diamond complex will offer fans and teams a terrific fastball experience complete with licensed beer garden and tasty BBQ courtesy of Vandenbergs. The Shootout is still accepting teams and a spot will be granted to the first 16 teams paid.
Shootout Notes:
- The calibre of this years Shootout is: OPEN
- Entry fee is $425. Entry granted to the first 16 teams paid
- Over $3000 in total prize money will be awarded based on 16 teams
- NEW "A", "B" & "C" format with 12 of the 16 teams making to the Sunday Playoff
- While not all teams will have to play Friday night, we ask all teams to be prepared to do so. In hopes of balancing the divisions and to reduce frequent opponents, special scheduling requests are difficult to accommodate. Keep in mind that the majority of the teams will be travelling a considerable distance.

As you can see the collection of teams is quite good again for 2011 and we feel extremely fortunate to be able to play host to a tournament of this calibre. Some of the games top players and pitchers will be on hand and for fans looking at getting a preview of teams participating in the 2011 ISC World Tournament, this is one event you will not want to miss..
