Service for Bruce McGuire:
Bruce was born and educated in Haliburton, Ontario. He relocated to Toronto where he wed Mae McFarlane and together raised a family. He retired from a successful lengthy career in the trucking industry. He spent his golden years joking, telling stories and bragging endlessly about the kids accomplishments. He was an avid sports fan who pretended to hate the Leafs. After a valiant battle with cancer Bruce passed away leaving behind his beloved wife of 50 years Mae. Adoring children Kim, Wendy (Brian), Brian (Lori) and Shaun (Rosemary). Proud Bapa and Great Bapa to Shane, Nina, Alexandra, Victoria, Shane Jr., Reid, Kari, Aiden, Autumn, Brandon, Chris, Jessica, Isabella, Tevontae, Gavin, Liam, Landon and Kristen. Bruce will be missed by all who know him. Nothing was more important to Bruce than his “my Mae” … accept maybe his Haliburton scrapbook.
