Travel League weekend cancelled - St Clements Cancelled

As has been case nearly all spring, rain is playing havoc with the 2011 fastball schedule again this weekend as the first weekend of the
ISC Travel League of Eastern Canada is being cancelled before it can even get underway in Owen Sound.

The diamonds are unplayable in Owen Sound and the games had to be cancelled. The main diamond is a mess and the south diamond would need hours and hours and hours to fix to be ready for tomorrow.

Ed note: it would appear that the tournament in St. Clements has also been cancelled due to the rain. We have received nothing official from the organizers however we did receive news of the cancellation from a fan who had heard it from one of the teams. Its also been on Facebook, but nothing official.

Bob Hall of the host team has informed us the Tournament in St Clements is definately cancelled due to the weather.We will TRY to have a double Header Exhib. games in New Dundee on Sat. Afternoon at 2 and 4 pm between the K-W Cubs and the Southern Ontario Jays.
