The Duluth Mens Fastpitch Classic- Stadium Lanes/Duluth Fastpitch captured the title this year with a 5-2 win over the Dugout Bar of Cushing,WI. The host team Stadium Lanes/Duluth FP finished with a 5-1 record on the weekend. Pitchers Kevin Karjala and Dave Meyer each had 2 wins for Stadium Lanes/Duluth FP, with Karjala pitching a gem of a game in the semi-final win over Fort Francis allowing only 3 hits in the 5-0 shutout victory. Jamie Mills, Rob Anderson and Mike Mahoney all paced the Duluth offense, with Mahoney contributing a game winning inside the park homerun saturday. Anderson and Mahoney also teamed up in the middle infield to make several fantastic defensive plays to help out the Duluth pitchers.
