Hogs Move to 16-9

The DeKalb Hogs split with Cedarville Wednesday night to move their overall record to 16-9.  The Hogs are off until Tuesday night when they will play nine games in five days including the Northern Illinois Travel League in Thomson, Il..

Game 1
Brian Tobin pitched the best game of the year for the Hogs going 7 innings while allowing only 4 hits and striking out 8.  Iqbal Padela had a HR and Ken Hodgen and Brian Crouch were 2x4 as the Hogs won 6-0.

Game 2
The Hogs let this one slip away.  Larry Lagerhausen took the loss 8-4.  Matt Smith was 2x4 with 2 SB and Jay Armes was 2x3 with a triple and an RBI.  Chad Crutcher and Iqbal Padela also had a RBI.
