PRESS RELEASE - 2006 Canadian Masters Fastball Championship UPDATE

The Canadian Masters Fastball Association (CMFA) executive has cancelled the 2006 Canadian Masters Fastball Championships. This cancellation includes all divisions for the 2006 Championships, Men's Masters, Men's Grand Masters and Women's Masters.
Lack of interest from Ontario and Western teams has provided us with no alternative but to cancel. We regretfully had to announce the update this late in the season but hopefully the executive will review a possible return for 2007 season. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Any further updates on possible progress for the 2007 season will be passed on accordingly.
I would like to personally thank everyone involved in Canadian Masters Fastball Association and all others who are too numerous to name, for their continued support over the few years we had this Championship.
