The Winston Royals boy's team won the ASA National Young Men's Fastpitch tournament this weekend in Mankato, Minnesota.
The team played in the 10 and Under age division and has players from across NW Missouri including:
Winston-Jacob Lewis, Cy Uthe, Brian Lewis, Marshall Farrell, Jakub Hisel, Coach Eric Lewis
Jefferson-Kobe Stoll, Nate Jermain, Eli Dowis, Asst. Coach Tim Jermain
King City-River McCallon
Maryville-Tyler Houchin, Trey Houchin, Asst. Coach Matt Houchin
Higginsville-Tanner Sears
The Royals outscored their opponents 57-4 in their four game run.
Winston pitcher Jacob Lewis gave up 7 hits and 6 walks while striking out 24.
Maryville slugger Tyler Houchin had 13 RBI's in the tournament.
The Royal's organization has won the last three tournaments at this age level.
Next year's tournament is scheduled to be held in Rolla, Missouri.
