Midget Nationals in Fredericton New Brunswick

To whom it may concern. I am the coach of the Wiarton Red Devils Midget Boys Fastball Team and thought I would send you this info. Our team (Wiarton Red Devils - Ontario # 1 ) has won the Midget Canadian Fastpitch Championships in Fredericton New Brunswick this past week with a 8-2 win in the championship final over Ontario # 2 (Stratford Memorials). Travis Jones hit a 3 run homer in the first and a 2 run shot in the 4th to lead the way. Andy Barber (a pick up from Sydenham) pitched a complete game, giving up only 2 hits, which included a 2 run homerun from Brett Hall.
Wiarton went 6-1 in the round robin, before defeating Newfoundland 12-9 and the Calahoo Chiefs from Alberta 7-1 in the playoff round, and then went on to defeat Stratford in the final.
