This most prestigious tournament is to celebrate the memory of our fallen comrade whom we lost some two years ago after a long and courageous battle with liver/pancreatic cancer . Prior to the start of the tournament Friday night in Azilda at the Rick McDonald Memorial Park , there will be a special celebration to remember Brad “The Sham “ – the Lockerby Legion under the direction of Chris Peters will lead the color guard followed by a few fords on behalf of Brad and his family by the tournament convener and chairperson Roger Legendre .That will be followed by an official opening pitch by a member of Brad’s family . We ask that players participating , the fans and friends of Brad be in Azilda at the fastball field for no later than 6:15 PM .It would be greatly appreciated . All of this will be followed by the opening and only game on Friday evening between the North Shore River Dawgs out of Sagamok and the defending 2010 tournament champions the Sudbury North Stars . Attached you will find the full schedule as well as the tournament rules .There will be as food vendor on hand all weekend long . There will be a 50/50 draw all weekend as well as raffle draws for nice prizes . We ask that all players ,fans and friends support our main sponsor The Dog House Sports Bar in Azilda just 1 minute away from the ball field . Team reps are reminded that your $380 entry fee as well as your official team player list (maximum 15 players) must be turned in prior to your first game .A receipt will be provided on request .
