OWEN SOUND PREPARES FOR CANADIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

The Senior Men's Canadian Championship is only a few days away. A great deal of preparation and planning has gone into this prestigious event, to be held in the fastball community of Owen Sound. This will be the city's fifth time hosting a Canadian Championship, in the past decade. The organizers and host committee are excited for a great week of ball. The wealth of talent that will be playing in the tournament from each province will be a pleasure for all fastball fans.

The host committee is proud to announce several guests that will be attending and providing updates during the Senior Championships.

After returning from a trip to Moline, Al Doran will be present for the entire week in Owen Sound. Be sure to check his site regularly for game to game updates and tournament notes.

Kyle Smith and his well-known Ballpark Radio crew, will also be attending during the championship weekend portion of the tournament. Games will be streamed live (audio only) with a schedule being released later this week.

"2011 has been a season to remember for us here at ballparkradio.com<http://ballparkradio.com/, a total of 6 tournaments and the New Zealand Black Sox tour of Ontario in June. We are pleased to follow up our exclusive coverage of the recent ISC World Tournament with our first ever visit to the Canadian Senior Men's Championship. We are extremely happy to be partnering up with a great group of people in Owen Sound, who as everyone knows runs nothing less than first class event." Kyle Smith

Fred Wallace, the sports broadcaster for the local CFOS radio station will be working the microphone for each game. Those that have ever had Fred work a game know the attributes he brings to the game and atmosphere.

Just like the recent Midget and Junior Canadian Championships, live updates will be provided on the Senior Men's Link below. This will just provide some more information to fans that are unable to attend the event.

Local Rogers TV: Championship Sunday will have the local Rogers Television station showing the final three games. It will also be replayed in the following weeks.
