The SpinMaster Pitchers School (fastball instruction) opens up for its 9Th year of operation on Monday November 14, 2011. SpinMaster is open to all female and male pitchers who have a burning desire to learn and further refine themselves at this special defensive positions..
Under the guidance of Head Instructor Mal Swift and his sons Jason, Matthew, Ryan and Brian Mather plus others, these students of the game will further their skills to make them future stars in fastball and keep the game alive and growing for years to come.
Pitchers will be instructed on proper mechanics, legal pitching, ball grips and the defensive positioning without the ball. Pitchers will be tested on accuracy and speed throughout the school year. Pitchers must provide their own catchers. Instructor to student ratio will be: 1 to 3 for pitchers.
SpinMaster will operate out of Capt. Michael Vandenbos PS on Monday nights for 1 hour sessions per age group, either
6 to 7 pm or 7 - 8 pm. Please note the earlier times from last year.
Registration will be on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS.
There will be limited spots open for registrants. The cost
of the school is $300.00/player.
Payment prior to the first class will guarantee your registration or on the first night November 14, 2011, if there is room.. These fees also cover insurance.
There is a family rate available for two or more students.
Please register early to secure you spot in the school.
