Waterdown Hammer Win the 2011 Elkland 1st Weekend Tournament

The Waterdown Hammer were crowned tournament champions of the 2011 18^th Annual Elkland First Weekend Tournament, after a 6-5 win over the Bedford Rays. Waterdown came out of the losers bracket to take the crown in the tournament with Tim Neil winning the Most Valuable Pitcher award and Jason Young winning Most Valuable Player award.

Here is the order of the top 5 finish:

30 games of softball were played over two days and nights, with games being shortened to 5 inning games on the final day due to the rain from Hurricane Irene..

3^rd Place – ESA Belly’s

2^nd Place – Bedford Rays
