4th Annual Parry Island Schedule Change

RICK McDONALD MEMORIAL FASTBALL LEAGUE
THE SUDBURY NORTH STARS WIN FIFTH STRAIT TITLE
The Rick McDonald Memorial Fastball league’s season for 2011 came to an end tonight in Whitefish Lake . It was a strange game to say the least . Both teams , the defending champs the North Stars and the Pickerel River Cardinals scored a run in the first inning but then the roof fell in as the North Stars stormed all over starter Jonathan Contin (3-2) and reliever Percy Tobobundung (0-0) to the tune of ten runs in two frames to take a commending 11-1 lead . Then all of a sudden , the Cardinals bat awoke as they scored five in the bottom of the third and now we have a 11-6 ball game . The North Stars are silent for two innings while their opponents score four and its now 15-10 . That is as far as the Cardinals get as they are stuffed out in the bottom of the seventh with winning pitcher John Ainslie (5-1) striking out two and getting the other out on an infield grounder . Chad St Cyr leads the way for the North Stars going 2 for 2 (triple ,3 run homer ) with teammates Mike Cain and John Minor (double , grand slam) going 2 for 4 . Pat Brennan hits 3 for 3 (2 run homer) and Ed Brennan went 3 for 4 in a losing cause for the Cardinals . John Minor who had a great playoff at the dish finishing with a grand slam tonight to cap it off was named the outstanding player MVP for the playoffs . Attached photo of champions with trophy . Teams are reminded of the year end get together at Dog House in Azilda on September the 16th
starting at 8 PM .Calls will be made to the reps on at least two occasions to check the number of people coming out . You are also reminded of the 6TH Annual All Star game coming up on Saturday September the 17th , starting at 5:30 PM with the individual competitions followed by the game itself facing the North Shore Select All Stars at 7 PM

Late this afternoon a team dropped out and therefore the complete schedule had to be revised . We apologize for the inconvenience . Check the attachment for the new revised schedule .

four innings)
