Tribe Takes Two From Toanche
On Sunday July 16, 2006, the Tribe braved the heat and traveled to Toanche to take on the Jr Eagles in a double header. The Tribe walked away with 2 victories, and improved their regular season record to 10-3.

In Game #1, Graham McNabb led the way with 2 hits, a homerun, and 2 RBI. Cory Kelly chipped in with a couple of singles and an RBI. On the mound Kelly picked up the win going the distance giving up 6 hits and striking out 5. Taking the loss for the Eagles was Chad Townsend.

Game #2 had Trace Leonard lead the Tribe offence with 3 hits and 2 RBI, while John McNabb, Cory Kelly, and Mike Kelly all had multi-hit games. The Tribe scored 4 in the 5th to erase a 4-1 Toanche lead, and added 1 more in the 7th to ice the victory. Kelly again went the distance recording the win and again gave up 6 hits and struck out 5. Grant Patenaude took the loss for the Jr Eagles.
Next up for the Tribe is a home game July 17th, against the Perkinsfield Bantus.
