The Thomson Merchants completed a somewhat dissapointing weekend of play at the AFSA Classic over the weekend. Finishing with a 1-3 record against four teams who were all at the 2005 ISC World Tournament Thomson was left to rue an inability to come up with key hits when it mattered against both Townline and Bloomington Stix. Behind the strong arm of Jonas Mach Thomson the score in both games was tied at 0-0 going into the 6th & 7th innings respectively but Thomson couldnt manage to score any of the baserunners when it counted. After this weekend Thomson record is 24-16 for the season.
