The Gee-Gees beat Wilfrid Laurier 3-2 in extra innings to take the top seed and advance to the semi-final as the top seed. Jean Cardona picked up the win and Andrea Nelson drove in the winning run in the 8th inning.
The team is back in action tomorrow at 1:00 against the winner of Toronto and Wilfrid Laurier.
