The Red Rock organizing committee was contacted today by John Simers, head coach of a participating Las Vegas fastball team who is filling out his roster for the 16 team, 2006 Red Rock Invitational Tournament.
Due to unforeseen circumstances on the Red Rock weekend, John requires a few pitchers, two outfielders, a catcher as well as an all-around player or two.
This opportunity is from a non-sponsored Las Vegas team and it would best for players interested to be from California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah due to the location of the tournament in St. George, Utah.
Examples of travel time by car are 1 1/2 hours North of Las Vegas, 5-6 hours from Southern California and about 5 hours from Salt Lake City.
