Good afternoon family and friends of John MacTavish:
On behalf of Cathy and her family, thanks to the generosity of so many of you in your donations to Camp McGovern in memory of John. Accordingly, the schedule for construction of the "John MacTavish Field of Dreams" is proceeding ahead of schedule... please note the attached update with photo from Camp McGovern from earlier this week.
INCOME TAX RECEIPTS for donations are being prepared and will be mailed in the near future.
DEDICATION - Plans are underway to host a dedication of the facility in the
spring/early summer of 2013, and those who are donors to the facility will certainly be among the first to be invited and be aware of the event.
Attached is a "current draft" of the names of the donors for appropriate recognition for the "John MacTavish Field of Dreams"... it's anticipated that a few more donations will still be received that are "caught in the mail".
Where possible, if I had the information, I tried to include the name of the donor and spouse, as appropriate. If there are errors, or requested revisions, please contact me prior to our posting the list on one or two appropriate websites and/or if you wish your donation to be publicly listed as "anonymous".
The original donation form is attached for anyone who would still like to make a memorial donation.
