Hello everyone - please note the following when referring to this weekends Explorers tournament.

 

Within the past year, the Midland Explorers have lost two of their most important team members as Lee Isenhart and Lefty Bartos both passed away.  It is without hyperbole or overstatement that without these two individuals, the Explorers program would not be in existence today, or in the position to host our 2nd ISC World Tournament.

 

The 2012 version of the Midland Explorers kick off their season this weekend at Emerson Park and we'd like to announce that the tournament has been renamed 'The Lefty Bartos and Lee Isenhart Memorial Tournament'.  Please refer to the tournament as such in media announcements, results, and tournament listings.

 

Lefty and Lee were truly dedicated to our sport and worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that our program was successful.  They will be both be missed immensely, but their spirit remains with the team always.
